Our work

Built for the job it has to do

Here is a finished department site, start to finish: an all-volunteer department that needs more volunteers. Every site we build is designed around what that agency has to do.

Cedar Hollow Fire home page: firefighters silhouetted against a night fire behind the headline 'The Hollow needs firefighters', with Join the Department and Free Smoke Alarm Check buttons and a leaf-burning season banner at the top. The same page on a phone, with the burn-status banner at the top.

Cedar Hollow Volunteer Fire Department

All-volunteer · Cedar Hollow · since 1952

Twenty-seven volunteers cover 61 square miles with no hydrants past the village line. The site's first job is finding more of them.

  • "The Hollow needs firefighters" on the first screen, with a six-step path to joining
  • A leaf-burning-season banner the chief changes from a phone
  • Recent responses, events, the four rigs and a free smoke-alarm request
  • Fire Prevention Night on Halloween: bring the kids, see the trucks

Cedar Hollow is a sample we invented so you can see a finished site without waiting on anyone's approval. Every department's site is built around its own people, trucks and story.
